Indonesian Danone Institute Foundation (DII) is one of the 17 Danone Institutes worldwide, led by Danone Institute International in France. The first Danone Institute was founded in France in 1991. To date, the international network involves more than 250 well-known experts from various disciplines such as basic and clinical nutrition, food science, physiology, microbiology, toxicology, pediatrics, endocrinology, internal medicine, genetics, sociology, and psychology; have funded 76 publications, organized 65 scientific symposia, and over 740 research projects. The institutes have developed numerous local programs aimed at supporting nutrition
research, informing and training professionals, and educating the general public. For

Indonesian Danone Institute Foundation (DII) was
incorporated on May 4, 2007 under the name "Yayasan Institut
Danone Indonesia". DII is a non-profit foundation, independent from the
Danone Business Unit. DII provides opportunity to its Scientific Members to make
significant contribution through the achievement of DII mission in Indonesia. Senior
scientists from universities and government institution are part of the Management Board
members. Experts from various disciplines, namely Nutrigenomic, Dietetic and Clinical
Nutrition, Community & Public Health Nutrition, Food Security and Policy are part of
